Mr. Matt Polsky
Welcome to my web page. I am known for telling bad chemistry jokes and for speaking (poorly) in foreign accents. I have taught at Hamilton since the Dead Sea was only a lake that was feeling a little sick and before that at Bell High School. I have spread my education dollars around, earning my teaching credential at CSUN, my Bachelor's degree from UCSD in Biology and my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Pepperdine University.

Chemistry is a difficult course, but all of you are capable of being successful if you are willing to work hard. The most important thing is to review, review, review, turn in all assignments, and be certain to follow the 11 commandments of chemistry.

Your textbook, Chemistry, Matter and Change can be accessed on the Internet via the publishers website, www.chemistrymc.com Access code F043F50F81 (those are zeros). Here you will find chapter tests, section quizzes, and other resource material designed to help you better understand the course information. Use it well!! Remember, that you can get additional help from the Internet by typing the topic we are covering into your favorite search engine.

In my syllabus you will find the topics we will cover this semester, general grading policy, and course requirements. I will add materials to this web site as the semester progresses. If there is something you would like me to add please let me know.
