MORE ACCOLADES FOR THE CANARY!
The students and faculty of the Canary lead workshops in New York.
Ms. Pamela Felcher, faculty advisor to the Award winning student journal, the Canary, along with the student editorial staff, presented a workshop at the CSPA Conference, held at Columbia University from March 17-19. The session was called "Making it Work", where they discussed the logistics of and the need for the continued creation of this type of literary journal when school systems are impacted by servere budget cuts, and the ever-increasing need for academic rigor and teacher accountabilitiy.Thank you members of the Canary for reprensenting our school in such a stellar light!
